For this renewed apartment, the goal was to give it back some of its original charm. The all white apartment has turned into a colorful yet comfortable home with character. A broad color palet was chosen to create different living spaces within one space. Combining blues and ocher yellows with dark browns, blacks and olives make the apartment look mature and luxurious. Oranges, reds and multiple prints ensure this space to still be playful.

The hand painted blue panelling creates a beautiful backdrop for multiple art prints and decorations. Here was chosen to create a pop of color with outspoken red accessoires and black slats.

A little corner in the kitchen made special by using a very dark brown. Because of the dark wall, the personally collected items are put in the spotlight.

The 6 meter long hallway went from meaningless space to a personal museum of memories by again using a very dark grey on the wall and curating collected art pieces and photographs.

In the bedroom an intimate ambiance was created by painting all the walls a warm olive tone and using origami pendants.

Little details are the key to a personal space. Tiny art pieces were used to give a funny twist and a leopard headboard was made by myself to give a sensual feeling.

The bedroom looks very cozy from the outside. The dark room is perfectly framed by all the white window frames. A perfect space to relax.
